Japanese bands at In The City, Manchester
18 & 20 October 2009
As part of the 2009 In The City music event in Manchester, two Japanese bands will be playing:
- Asakusa Jinta : describing themselves as a 'hard marching band' and named after the district of Tokyo they come from, this six piece play a mixture of rockabilly, country, punk, enka and kayoukyoku.
- Bo Ningen : a London-based four piece psychedelic noise-rock band.
The bands are playing on the following days:
- Sunday 18 October 2009 at Studio, 23 Peter Street : Asakusa Jinta - band on stage at 7:30pm.
- Tuesday 20 October 2009 at TV21, 10 Thomas Street : Bo Ningen and Asakusa Jinta - bands on stage at 7:00pm and 7:45pm respectively.
Both gigs are open to In The City delegates and ITC Live wristband holders (GBP 20.00 plus booking fee).
Tickets are also available on the door for GBP 7.00.
