NanimeW Japanese cinema & music night

A NanimeW Japanese cinema and music night took place on Thursday 5 July 2007, upstairs in the café bar at the Greenroom on Whitworth Street, Manchester (beneath Oxford Road train station).

The night ran from 8:00pm until midnight and the following was shown:

• The Messenger - Requiem for the Dead : live-action short (from the Jam Films anthology)
• Better Left Unsaid : live-action short (from the Grasshoppa! anthology series)
• Mr Yamaoka : live-action short (from the Grasshoppa! anthology series)
• Wings of Honneamise (Ouritsu Uchuugun Oneamisu No Tsubasa) : anime film

Resident DJ Happosai also played an eclectic mix of Japanese music.
