Following tradition, 13-year-old Kiki must leave home and support herself for a year. Kiki's a witch, complete with flying broomstick and talking cat. Miyazaki's delightful film is refreshingly down-to earth about Kiki's problems in adjusting to a new home, not to mention adolescence.
