The Leeds International Film Festival is an annual event showcasing numerous films from around the world over a two week period. This year's festival takes place from 3 to 13 October 2002 and features a number of Japanese film screenings, both anime and live-action, at various cinemas in Leeds.
On Sunday 6 October 2002, from 1:00pm until 11:00pm, there will be a day of anime film screenings at The Lounge Cinema, Headingley, Leeds. The following films will be shown:
A stall run by Travelling Man will be present, selling anime-related merchandise.
Other films being shown at the festival that may be of interest to anime fans are Avalon and My Beautiful Girl, Mari.
Price of tickets for film screenings:
Special offer until 3 October 2002: 5 tickets for the price of 4, or 12 tickets for the price of 10.
